1. Don’t skip breakfast – it kick-starts your system in the morning, and without it your sugars will be turned into fat instead of energy.

2. Walk places whenever you can. I tend to walk anywhere that is less than a half hour walk away – sure, it would only be a 2 minute bus ride, but the walk is more enjoyable and healthier.

3. Try eating 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Don’t cut down on calories, just split them up throughout the day. Your body handles smaller portions better.
