Is there a difference between them and the way it’s treated?

-He didn’t have a lot of productive coughs and also had nasal drips, while I was coughing up phlegm and had a tough time taking deep breaths; I didn’t have a nasal drip, but my lymph nodes were swollen. He had a high fever, and I didn’t.

-My throat was so sore for five days after I quit smoking. My boyfriend continued with his cigarettes.

-My suitemate got sick, and I think she’s reinfected my bf with different germs; today he has another fever with chills, and I am still sick with the same cold, but now accompanied by a stomachache, which I’ve had since my cold started a week ago. Can stomach-upset accompany colds?! Or is it simply because I’m stressed?

I’m a student, but lately I’ve slept a lot and medicated myself with nyquil/dayquil.
