Corn Cob Pipe Maintenance Question…?
Every so often, the guys in my dorm go out and have a smoke. Ive been more than content with Cigars in the past, but i wanted to try a pipe. So I went to the local tobbaconist and bought a cheap 3 or 4 dollar Corn cob one. I like it alot, but Im looking inside the bowl and covered in ash. Do Corn cob pipes have a certain life span? Is there anything, maintence wise, that Im missing?
The pipe is basically creating a “cake” this is what you want. If you are enjoying pipe smoking, I would suggest getting a quality briar pipe added to your rotation. If you want more info, check out www.pipes.org and check out the pipe smoking 101 section, it will tell you a lot of good information on smoking a pipe.
